Responsibilities
- Lead solution definition for key initiatives, covering architecture, technical approach, integration strategy, cloud alignment, and delivery feasibility - Work directly with client executives and product leaders to translate business needs into scalable, modern architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP - Collaborate with engineering teams to convert architectural direction into actionable plans, balancing quality, velocity, and pragmatic tradeoffs - Conduct architecture assessments, review existing systems, and define modernization, migration, or greenfield approaches - Develop solution proposals, statements of work, estimates, and architectural documentation for both pre-sales and delivery - Support the build of strategic partner relationships with major cloud hyperscalers and provide ongoing architectural guidance, technical decisions, and risk identification to delivery teams
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role translating business requirements into scalable technical architectures - Strong familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and multi-cloud concepts - Experience producing solution proposals, statements of work, and estimates for pre-sales engagements - Proven ability to partner with client executives and product leaders on technical direction and tradeoffs - Comfort working within a distributed, self-managed team that relies on asynchronous communication and proactive ownership - Openness to receiving detailed feedback and iterating on work as part of a continuous improvement culture
Nice to have
- Background supporting both greenfield builds and legacy modernization or migration projects - Prior experience building partner relationships with cloud hyperscalers - Comfort in design-and-build environments where teams adapt process to fit the problem rather than following rigid rituals
