UI/UX Designer

Role overview Shape the candidate experience for an AI-powered interview assistance product used during one of the most stressful moments of a job seeker's career. This design role spans web and desktop interfaces, focused on turning a powerful AI tool into something that feels calm, clear, and trustworthy. The work blends high-level product thinking with hands-on, pixel-accurate execution.

Responsibilities - Own end-to-end design flows, from user research and wireframes through high-fidelity Figma mockups - Collaborate closely with engineers to ship designs that match the final implementation - Grow and maintain a shared design system so the product stays consistent as it scales - Prototype quickly to explore ideas and validate direction before committing - Translate complex AI behaviors into simple, intuitive interface moments

Requirements - Portfolio demonstrating ownership of full product flows, not just screens - Strong Figma skills for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design - Ability to balance big-picture systems thinking with small interaction details - Comfort working alongside engineering teams and defending design decisions with reasoning - Track record of shipping interfaces for web and/or desktop products

Nice to have - Experience designing for AI-driven or data-rich products - Familiarity with motion, micro-interactions, or accessibility best practices - Background contributing to or scaling an existing design system
