Job details
About this role
Role overview The Integration Engineer builds and maintains third-party data connectors for a master data management platform built natively on a leading data intelligence platform. The role is hybrid in nature, spanning full-stack development and data engineering, focused on delivering reliable integrations that enrich customer data at scale. Success depends on consistent execution against a standard architectural pattern, adapting to provider-specific quirks, and owning external vendor relationships end-to-end.
Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain end-to-end integrations with enterprise data providers such as Dun & Bradstreet, ZoomInfo, and Smarty - Develop Spark Structured Streaming pipelines to ingest and process high-volume third-party data - Build backend services and APIs that orchestrate integration workflows, authentication, and data delivery - Create frontend configuration experiences that let customers set up and manage integrations - Work directly with external vendors to understand APIs, authentication models, schemas, rate limits, and delivery mechanisms, then translate those into working integrations - Collaborate with Product, Platform, and Delivery teams to ensure each integration meets customer requirements
Requirements - Hands-on experience building data integrations or large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines - Strong proficiency with Apache Spark, particularly Spark Structured Streaming - Backend development skills for building APIs and orchestration services - Frontend development skills for delivering configuration interfaces - Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication patterns, and data schemas - Strong communication skills for managing external vendor relationships and cross-team collaboration
Nice to have - Experience with master data management, entity resolution, or data quality platforms - Familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog, Workflows, and Jobs - Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform - Experience building integrations as a reusable framework rather than one-off implementations
Benefits and work setup - Full-time remote position based in India - Opportunity to own well-scoped, repeatable integration work end-to-end on a small, focused team
