DEVOPS ENGINEER

Role overview A senior DevOps engineer is needed to lead the architecture and deployment of mission-critical software at scale for international clients. The role centers on cloud infrastructure, automation, and operational continuity, with a clear focus on high availability and robust security posture. The position is fully remote and full time, partnering closely with development, architecture, and security teams to deliver production-grade platforms.

Responsibilities - Define and evolve infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Terragrunt, keeping environments reproducible and scalable across production, QA, and development stages - Build automated CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and orchestrate zero-downtime blue/green releases on AWS ECS Fargate - Design and execute a cross-region disaster recovery plan while integrating advanced observability through CloudWatch and X-Ray - Model component architecture and forecast infrastructure and licensing costs over a multi-year horizon to balance continuity with financial sustainability - Coordinate strategy with development, architecture, and cybersecurity counterparts to keep the platform reliable and secure - Participate in incident response under pressure, using calm analytical judgment to mitigate critical events

Requirements - Five or more years of proven senior experience in DevOps, SysOps, or cloud architecture roles - Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, software engineering, or a closely related field - Strong hands-on command of AWS services including ECS Fargate, Aurora, CloudWatch, and X-Ray, plus the AWS CLI and Docker - Practical expertise with Terraform, Terragrunt, and building pipelines in GitHub Actions - Background designing cross-region architectures, disaster recovery strategies, and blue/green deployment patterns - Familiarity with infrastructure and connectivity requirements in financial or banking environments - Spanish at B2 level or higher

Nice to have - Comfort with cost modeling and capacity planning for cloud platforms - Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven industries
