Role overview The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining customizations within an Oracle E-Business Suite environment, with a focus on the Order to Cash cycle. Work spans custom PL/SQL development, Oracle Forms and Reports, BI/XML Publisher outputs, Workflow automation, and APEX-based extensions that connect EBS with surrounding systems. It is a hands-on technical position suited to someone who can move between detailed code work and cross-functional requirements gathering.
Responsibilities - Build, test, and deploy customizations and extensions across Inventory, BOM, and Order Management modules within the Order to Cash cycle - Write complex PL/SQL for data manipulation, business logic, integrations, and performance tuning inside EBS - Develop and modify Oracle Forms for data entry and user interfaces, and maintain custom Oracle Reports - Design and maintain Oracle Workflow processes, including custom activities and notifications - Produce reports and document layouts with Oracle BI/XML Publisher using XML data sources from EBS - Develop standalone tools or extensions using Oracle APEX and build integrations between EBS and other systems - Collaborate with functional teams on requirements, translate them into technical designs, and participate across the full software development lifecycle - Create and maintain technical documentation such as design specs, test plans, and deployment guides
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field - Five years of relevant professional experience - Four years with Oracle PL/SQL - Four years with Oracle Forms, Reports, and BI Publisher - Four years with Oracle EBS Application Modules Release 12.2 or higher, covering Order to Cash components such as Inventory, BOM, Order Management, Purchasing, Receivables, and General Ledger - Two years with Oracle APEX - One year with Oracle OAF or Java
