Cybersecurity Engineer

Role overview A remote Cybersecurity Engineer position for a SaaS platform that sits across an organisation's software stack, including tools like Slack, Jira, HubSpot, and Microsoft 365. Security is treated as a foundational design constraint rather than an add-on. The role owns the overall security posture end-to-end.

Responsibilities - Shape security architecture for how customer data is handled across the platform - Maintain controls for cloud infrastructure, with AWS as the preferred environment - Lead incident response processes, including detection, triage, and post-incident review - Secure OAuth flows, APIs, and third-party SaaS integration patterns - Translate security constraints into guidance that non-security engineers can act on - Support alignment with GDPR and enterprise frameworks such as ISO 27001

Requirements - 4+ years in security engineering or a closely related role - Deep understanding of cloud security, AWS strongly preferred - Hands-on experience with OAuth security, API security, and SaaS integration patterns - Familiarity with GDPR and enterprise security frameworks - Clear written and verbal communication with engineers outside the security function - Based in European time zones (CET ±3h) with the right to work in the EU or UK
