Senior AI Engagement Manager

Role overview A senior client-facing position is open within an analytics center of excellence that partners with life sciences organizations on data, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. The role bridges internal product, data science, and analytics capabilities with the strategic needs of pharmaceutical and biotech customers, translating AI offerings into measurable business impact and driving renewals through sustained client value.

Responsibilities - Own a meaningful share of direct project delivery for client engagements, calling on team support when needed. - Act as the primary client point of contact across the full AI engagement lifecycle, from scoping and pilot design through execution and final delivery. - Lead strategic advisory conversations with senior client stakeholders, translating AI capabilities into actionable solutions. - Run several concurrent AI engagements in parallel, balancing timelines, deliverables, and expectations across accounts. - Support presales and renewal discussions by contributing credible AI and life sciences expertise. - Spot risks and expansion opportunities inside client engagements, escalating or acting as appropriate. - Help mature the AI engagement practice by capturing learnings and refining delivery processes.

Requirements - Willingness to travel roughly 10% to support client engagements. - Background in management consulting with a strategic advisory focus, ideally at a top-tier or life sciences-focused firm. - Direct experience serving pharmaceutical, biotech, or broader life sciences clients. - Hands-on experience scoping, managing, or delivering AI or digital transformation pilots in a client-facing setting. - Strong executive presence and the ability to lead complex conversations with senior stakeholders. - Solid project management skills, comfortable juggling multiple engagements in a fast-moving environment. - Familiarity with healthcare data, commercial life sciences functions, or real-world evidence. - Comfort operating autonomously and adapting quickly in a high-growth, ambiguous setting.
