Role overview

A high-volume post-production operation producing world-class video content is hiring an Assistant Video Editor to support a distributed team of editors, directors, and producers. The role focuses on organizing 4K assets, building project files, and shuttling sequences between editing and color grading tools in a deadline-driven workflow. Candidates must be comfortable working with adult entertainment material.

Responsibilities

- Ingest and organize assigned 4K raw footage and supporting video assets - Build Adobe Premiere Pro project files for editors following established post-production guidelines - Sync and organize footage, audio, and related media across active projects - Prepare edited sequences for handoff to colorists in DaVinci Resolve via XML, then re-import graded material back into Premiere - Run quality-control checks before and after final exports, troubleshoot Premiere and adjacent software issues, and prepare completed projects for archival

Requirements

- At least three years of professional video editing experience within Adobe Premiere Pro - Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve - Strong communication, attention to detail, and critical-thinking skills - Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment as a collaborative team member - Reliable, fast home internet connection suitable for remote video work
