Snr. Information Security Analyst(Remote)

Role overview Lead and strengthen security monitoring and incident response to protect company and customer information. This senior analyst owns escalations, develops response mechanisms, and supports less experienced security operations colleagues while contributing to reviews and vulnerability management. The role supports platforms that require UK SC clearance.

Responsibilities - Lead responses to security alerts, own escalations, and guide junior security operations team members. - Create alerts and dashboards, and build response mechanisms for automated triage and security control validation. - Hunt for threats in security logs and monitor network changes and activity. - Investigate and respond to incidents, documenting root causes and remediation for vulnerabilities and security events. - Conduct product and service security reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning; triage findings. - Maintain security policies, procedures, and playbooks.

Requirements - Deep knowledge of information security practices, including cloud infrastructure, application security, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing. - Experience building security tools or scripts and using SIEM and log observability platforms; Microsoft Sentinel or Elasticsearch experience is relevant. - Ability to diagnose, document, and mitigate risk, and to mentor junior colleagues. - Understanding of SaaS security concepts such as secure configuration, APIs, logging, access control, and permissions. - Familiarity with multiple operating systems and the Linux command line, plus strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Support for platforms requiring UK SC clearance.

Nice to have - Certifications such as Security+, GSEC, CompTIA CySA+, or Cisco CyberOps; a relevant bachelor's degree is preferred. - Experience with Azure or AWS, AI-assisted analysis or development, Docker, OWASP Top 10, or MITRE ATT&CK.
