Full Stack Developer – TypeScript & Java/Kotlin

About this role
Role overview Build and operate full stack enterprise software for international client projects. You’ll develop backend services and accessible web interfaces, contribute from design through deployment, and help improve the infrastructure that supports production systems. The work combines implementation, architecture discussions, operational ownership, and collaboration in an agile team.
Responsibilities - Develop backend services and performant, accessible frontend applications. - Own work across the software lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and operation. - Write maintainable code and automated tests. - Maintain and improve infrastructure, including observability tools. - Contribute to architecture and system design decisions and solve multi tier technical problems. - Share knowledge and collaborate with teammates in an agile environment.
Requirements - At least three years building and operating production systems across the full stack. - Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript fundamentals, with experience in React, Preact, or Vue. - Strong Java or Kotlin skills and experience with frameworks such as Ktor or Spring Boot. - Working knowledge of SQL databases and schema design. - Experience with automated testing; end to end testing is especially relevant. - Experience with a major cloud provider and CI/CD pipelines; written and spoken English fluency. - Must be based in Bulgaria or elsewhere in the EU and eligible to work in the EU without visa sponsorship.
Nice to have - Familiarity with microservices, self contained systems, or Domain Driven Design. - Knowledge of server side rendering, observability tools, or message brokers such as Kafka or SQS. - Infrastructure as code experience, for example with Pulumi, AWS CDK, or Terraform. - Fluent German.
