About this role
Role overview
Improve the technical quality, search visibility, and performance of global websites through hands-on development and technical SEO. You’ll work with marketing, search, and engineering colleagues to find and fix issues across crawling, indexing, localization, site structure, and user experience, while also assessing how content appears in AI-powered search experiences.
Responsibilities - Audit crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal links, redirects, canonicalization, JavaScript rendering, and Core Web Vitals; monitor changes for regressions. - Implement or specify fixes for metadata, structured data, XML sitemaps, robots directives, templates, redirects, and other page-level SEO needs in a content management system. - Investigate broken links, duplicate or orphaned pages, redirect chains, rendering problems, and other defects, then coordinate resolution with development, design, and marketing teams. - Support international SEO by checking hreflang, language coverage, and multilingual site structure, including identifying missing or incorrect translations. - Review how content is represented in AI search tools and apply recommendations around content structure, entity clarity, topical coverage, and internal linking. - Use analytics, SEO platforms, scripts, APIs, or automation to prioritize improvements, track results, and streamline recurring audits.
Requirements - At least three years of professional web development experience that includes hands-on technical SEO work. - Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, with experience supporting and troubleshooting production websites. - Practical experience implementing canonical tags, redirects, metadata, structured data, XML sitemaps, and robots directives. - Understanding of search crawling, rendering, indexing, international SEO, and website performance, including Core Web Vitals. - Experience diagnosing technical issues across development and SEO layers and using tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms. - Familiarity with analytics, content management systems, modern web frameworks, and Git-based workflows; a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
Experience with large multilingual sites; React, Next.js, server-side rendering, or static generation; schema.org; analytics and tag management; CDN or caching technologies; and scripting audit automation in JavaScript or Python. A background in SaaS, cybersecurity, experimentation, or conversion optimization is also useful.
