Rust Engineer

Role overview Join a fintech product team as a full-time Rust Engineer focused on designing and building the core platform of a trading-oriented system. You will shape architecture, make foundational technical decisions, and deliver production-ready implementations in a remote-friendly environment that values deep systems expertise.

Responsibilities - Design the full architecture of the core platform and its supporting systems - Make key technical decisions on technology stack, infrastructure, and system design with minimal oversight - Build the initial production-ready implementation - Contribute to development of the product core - Collaborate cross-functionally across teams and the technology stack

Requirements - 3+ years of commercial Rust development experience - 5+ years of systems development experience - Understanding of trading domain processes - Deep knowledge of async Rust using tokio, async-std, or futures - Strong systems programming background in memory management, concurrency, and low-level optimization - Solid understanding of TCP/UDP and WebSocket protocols - Experience with in-memory data stores such as Redis or equivalent - Familiarity with distributed systems design principles - Experience with AI-assisted agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex - Strong intermediate English

Nice to have - Experience with PostgreSQL - Basic understanding of quantitative trading
