Role overview A .NET Engineer is needed to help develop and expand a fintech product alongside a team with deep expertise in research, analysis, and product development. The work centers on scalable, high-traffic systems where technology and data shape the product, combining data-driven decision-making with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Engineers here tackle complex problems in fintech while exploring modern tools and practices.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions for high-traffic systems using C# and modern .NET. - Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable software architectures. - Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver features. - Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code supported by unit, integration, and load tests. - Investigate production issues and improve system observability through logs, metrics, traces, and business data. - Research and introduce new technologies, tools, and engineering practices that improve product quality and development efficiency.
Requirements - 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and modern .NET. - Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and software architecture. - Hands-on experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming. - Strong experience building and operating production systems, preferably high-load and highly available. - Practical experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and real-time or low-latency data processing using RabbitMQ or Kafka. - Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, and performance optimization, including autoscaling and bottleneck resolution. - Experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases. - Experience designing and implementing APIs using REST, GraphQL, or gRPC. - Hands-on experience with Entity Framework, Docker, and Kubernetes concepts, plus AWS or another cloud platform. - Familiarity with CI/CD tooling, TDD practices, Agile environments, and AI-powered coding assistants. - English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
Nice to have - Experience with ClickHouse or other analytical databases for large-scale data processing. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform. - Background in fintech, trading, or other high-load domains.
