Senior Full Stack Product Engineer

Role overview Help shape and scale an automation platform for insurance workflows as an early, senior product engineer. The role spans React interfaces and backend services, with ownership of features from discovery through production and a voice in technical direction. You will also help build intelligent workflows that use language models to support insurance professionals.

Responsibilities - Partner with product, design, and engineering colleagues to define, build, and refine features through release. - Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code across React frontend and Python or TypeScript/Node backend systems. - Design and implement workflow automation and language-model integrations for insurance use cases. - Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance, and help establish engineering practices and architectural direction. - Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across disciplines. - Test ideas quickly, learn from results, and adapt as product priorities evolve.

Requirements - At least five years of software development experience, particularly in full-stack or product engineering. - Strong React skills, including hooks, context, and state management. - Backend experience with TypeScript/Node and/or Python, including FastMCP. - Familiarity with workflow automation tools or their integration. - Some experience with large language models, natural language processing, or AI-powered features. - Clear collaboration and communication skills, adaptability, and a focus on maintainable, efficient code.

Nice to have - Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines. - Insurance or fintech experience. - Familiarity with microservices or event-driven architecture.
