Role overview
This is an individual-contributor position on a technical staff team building the runtime that powers autonomous coding agents. The work spans cloud-based services, sandboxed execution environments, orchestration logic, and developer-facing APIs that sit underneath agent workflows. The role can be based in Tel Aviv or performed remotely, and centers on platform-level engineering rather than end-user product work.
Responsibilities
- Design and build cloud services that form the backbone of the agent runtime. - Create and maintain isolated execution environments in which autonomous agents can safely run code. - Implement orchestration components that schedule, coordinate, and supervise agent tasks. - Develop developer-facing APIs and interfaces that expose the runtime to other engineers and tooling. - Collaborate with peers on reliability, scaling, and operational concerns of the platform.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building production cloud services or distributed backends. - Familiarity with concepts around sandboxing, isolated execution, or secure runtimes. - Ability to design clean, well-defined APIs intended for developer consumption. - Comfort working independently on infrastructure-level problems with evolving requirements.
Nice to have
- Background in developer platforms, code execution infrastructure, or agent/automation systems. - Interest in the practical challenges of running untrusted or generated code safely at scale.
