You will own parts of the stack that keep AI services responsive, observable, and shippable.
Responsibilities
- Maintain AI systems on cloud infrastructure, including databases, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines - Ensure production reliability for models and the services surrounding them - Build tooling that lets researchers and product engineers deploy and iterate quickly - Work across APIs, databases, backend systems, and deployment pipelines as a generalist engineer - Translate ambiguous research directions into clean, usable engineering artifacts
Requirements
- Strong Python skills - Experience with cloud deployment - Full-stack experience preferred - Comfort working with APIs, databases, backend systems, and deployment pipelines - Genuine interest in large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, evaluation systems, and applied AI products - Ability to take loosely defined research ideas and shape them into usable systems
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Docker, React or Next.js, Postgres, vector databases, or major cloud platforms - Building AI evaluation pipelines or benchmarking systems - Prior work in legal technology, document AI, enterprise AI, or workflow automation
