Role overview
This is a hands-on, remote internship pairing a graduate student with senior engineers and researchers working on real AI systems. The role is structured around clear deliverables and meaningful technical contributions rather than busywork, offering direct exposure to live research and engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to active AI research and engineering workstreams, including evaluation pipelines, data preparation, and prototype development - Implement experiments and document results in a clear, reproducible manner - Support the team with literature reviews and rapid prototyping of new ideas
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree at a top-tier university and within the final two years of the program - Participation in at least one AI research project - Letter or recommendation from a professor familiar with the candidate's research - Solid Python fundamentals and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Nice to have
- Prior internship experience in machine learning or data science - Working familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow
