A senior-level backend engineering position focused on strengthening the core architecture of a network discovery platform. Responsibilities
- Design, refactor, and evolve core discovery platform components - Drive architectural improvements that reduce technical debt and improve scalability and stability - Own platform initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition through delivery - Partner closely with Product to translate business goals into technical roadmap items - Mentor and support other engineers through technical leadership and clear communication
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with Node.js and TypeScript - Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ - System design experience building scalable applications - Practical experience with Linux and Docker - Track record of refactoring and maintaining existing production systems - Self-directed working style with strong written and verbal communication in English
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed systems or large-scale data processing - CI/CD pipeline and deployment experience - Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows - Networking or network engineering background
