Associate Director, Product (Data)

Role overview A senior product leadership role guiding a self-service data warehousing and reporting product used by Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. The position owns the product line end-to-end, partnering with engineering and clients to plan releases, evaluate new features, and improve outcomes for dual-eligible seniors.

Responsibilities - Independently use AI tools to investigate the codebase and resolve technical functionality questions. - Lead discovery and delivery of complex features, including client sessions and PRD writing. - Recommend build-versus-buy assessments for manager review. - Provide regular company-wide product updates and handle client escalations with minimal oversight. - Plan monthly and quarterly roadmaps and guide cross-functional stakeholders through application changes and rollouts. - Flag cross-product interdependencies to the broader product team and own the steps needed to launch new features. - Set clear expectations for direct reports, give regular feedback, and support their growth and career development.

Requirements - 6-8 years of product management experience, including 1+ year managing and developing a team. - Strong technical background with familiarity in data modeling and analytics tooling. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with comfort working directly with clients and navigating escalations. - Ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces and balance product decisions against broader business outcomes. - Strong understanding of the software product development lifecycle, including running scrum processes. - Proficiency in SQL and JIRA, with experience working with healthcare datasets such as electronic health record or claims data.

Nice to have - Prior start-up experience. - Previous experience building data products.

Benefits and work setup - Base salary range of $165,000 to $175,000, with final compensation based on experience, skills, and organizational needs. - Fully remote position based in the United States; this role is not eligible for sponsorship.
