Software Engineer (Internal Tools)

The work covers the systems that operations, finance, and technical teams rely on every day, plus an LLM- and agent-driven automation layer that handles data preprocessing, SOP workflows, and other long-tail operations. Responsibilities - Build internal applications spanning operations workflows, finance pipelines, and broader technical tooling. - Develop an automation layer using LLMs and agent frameworks to handle data preprocessing and SOP workflows. - Train and fine-tune smaller custom models for repetitive data-processing tasks. - Maintain and harden the existing stack, fixing breakage and filling gaps before they become blockers. - Use AI coding tools as a core part of the daily workflow. - Collaborate directly with operations, finance, and engineering to decide what to build next.

Requirements - Solid software engineering experience with production systems you have shipped and owned. - Strong Python skills, including data analysis, automation, and the unglamorous work of making systems reliable. - Hands-on experience with LLM and agent frameworks plus prompt engineering at production quality. - A portfolio of projects you are proud of, with emphasis on shipped work over credentials. - High agency and comfort working without close supervision. - Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have - Background in operations, finance systems, or back-office engineering. - Experience fine-tuning small language models on domain-specific data.
