Senior Software Engineer (GenAI)

Role overview Join a remote-first engineering team (EU time zones) focused on building and shipping generative AI products and client solutions. The role blends full-stack software craft with applied GenAI work, with room for engineers newer to the field to grow into the latest models, tools, and evaluation practices. Expect a mix of hands-on coding, prototyping, and research-driven development, with optional in-person time at company retreats and an office.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and ship clean, maintainable, high-performance code across the stack using modern AI-assisted development tools. - Define and develop generative AI systems that solve domain-specific problems for clients across multiple industries. - Architect scalable, efficient engineering solutions centered on LLM-powered applications. - Integrate external APIs (REST/OpenAPI/Swagger, GraphQL) and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions). - Apply prompt engineering techniques and build evaluation pipelines to measure and improve model behavior. - Prototype emerging approaches, contribute to internal R&D, and translate new research into production-ready features.

Requirements - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Strong proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript. - Solid grasp of engineering best practices: Git version control, code review, and testing. - Hands-on experience with frameworks and runtimes such as React, Next.js, or Node.js. - Background building data-intensive applications and supporting infrastructure. - Clear, proactive communication skills suited to async, remote collaboration. - Demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar technologies and frameworks.

Nice to have - Familiarity with prompt engineering patterns, AI orchestration frameworks, and vector databases. - Exposure to cloud AI services on AWS, Azure, or GCP. - A genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning in generative AI.
