Role overview A healthcare technology team is hiring a Technology Applications Specialist to support the systems that underpin radiology service delivery. The position combines hands-on application administration, configuration, testing and incident support with stakeholder engagement across clinical, operational and IT groups. It suits a solutions-oriented professional who enjoys improving clinical workflows and resolving complex technical problems in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities - Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to identify, analyse and implement improvements across the radiology applications environment. - Provide day-to-day configuration, testing, troubleshooting and ongoing support for clinical and radiology applications. - Manage incidents and service requests through the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions. - Assist with onboarding, training sessions and demonstrations for radiologists and other staff members. - Monitor application performance, validate workflows and liaise with external vendors to resolve issues and maintain service quality. - Contribute to documentation, user guides and multimedia resources that support effective workflows and continuous improvement.
Requirements - Demonstrated experience working with radiology or clinical applications in a healthcare setting. - Solid understanding of radiology workflows and the interaction between RIS, PACS and HL7 standards. - Hands-on experience supporting, maintaining, monitoring, testing and validating clinical or radiology applications. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across technical, workflow and application issues. - Confidence working with Microsoft technologies and products. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support end users across different organisational levels.
Nice to have - Experience in customer relationship management, project management or quality assurance. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Exposure to integrations between clinical systems and broader enterprise IT environments.
