Sr. Software Engineer

Role overview A senior engineering role building the core platform that automates the lifecycle of operational incidents and powers IT operations portals. The role spans API design, investigator-facing UI, database architecture and key platform services, with close collaboration across support, design and QA.

Responsibilities - Design, develop and maintain features across the platform, including RESTful APIs and the investigator-facing operations portal - Own components of the database layer and data management systems that store telemetry and incident records - Build automation across the incident lifecycle, from detection through resolution and stakeholder communication - Partner with UI/UX, technical support and QA teammates to ship features reliably on schedule - Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews and engineering best practices - Translate operational feedback from customer-facing teams into platform improvements

Requirements - Several years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in a SaaS or data-intensive environment - Strong proficiency in backend languages and modern web frameworks - Solid understanding of database design, data modelling and performance tuning - Experience designing and consuming APIs at scale - Comfort working across the full stack and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Nice to have - Familiarity with observability data, including logs, metrics and traces, and incident response workflows - Exposure to AI or machine learning systems, anomaly detection or streaming data pipelines
