Sr. DevOps Engineer

Role overview This senior DevOps role supports the infrastructure behind an AI-driven reliability platform that helps engineering teams detect, diagnose, and remediate issues across logs, metrics, and traces. The engineer will work hands-on to keep systems stable while enabling continuous delivery at pace. The position is remote, with a base in or around Raleigh, North Carolina, and suits someone who enjoys both designing systems and writing the automation that keeps them healthy.

Responsibilities - Design and develop core infrastructure, partnering with other engineers to ensure system stability and integrity - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support continuous delivery across the platform - Develop automation scripts to replace manual processes and reduce operational toil - Participate in capacity planning, hardware planning, application installation and support, and performance tuning

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field - At least 18 months of experience in the role offered or as a software engineer - Practical experience designing CI/CD pipelines and production infrastructure - Comfort writing automation scripts and participating in capacity and performance planning

Nice to have - Background supporting AI or machine learning platforms - Familiarity with observability tooling and integrating with monitoring solutions - Experience working in environments focused on incident prediction, anomaly detection, or auto-remediation
