Senior Frontend Engineer
Job details
About this role
Role overview A product studio and venture builder is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to drive web application development across client products and internal ventures. The role centers on treating the interface as the product itself, owning architecture, performance, and the polish that distinguishes shipped work from production-grade work. The position suits an engineer who thrives on complex, data-heavy UI problems and wants meaningful ownership rather than feature-level implementation.
Responsibilities - Lead frontend architecture from design-system foundations through build pipelines, deployment, and production monitoring - Build complex, data-rich interfaces in TypeScript, React, and Next.js for both client engagements and internal products - Translate product intent into accessible, responsive, fast interfaces, including shaping design when no spec exists - Establish and enforce standards around Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and cross-device quality - Contribute to system design, code reviews, and engineering best practices across the team - Use AI-assisted tooling to move quickly while remaining accountable for every line that ships
Requirements - 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience - Deep expertise in TypeScript and React, with production Next.js work including App Router, server components, and rendering strategy - Design-system mindset: component architecture, tokens, and variants built for reuse by other engineers - Strong performance engineering fundamentals: Core Web Vitals, bundle budgets, and loading strategy - Accessibility as a default practice, covering keyboard navigation, screen readers, contrast, and focus management - Pragmatic test coverage at the component and integration level where it earns its keep - Clear written communication and comfort with async, remote collaboration; English at B2+ level
Nice to have - Experience shaping UI when design ownership is shared with the engineer
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first with a CET-aligned time zone requirement - Competitive compensation paid reliably and on time - Small team environment with direct impact on product direction - Equipment support to set up a home workspace - Interview process focused on real engineering rather than algorithmic puzzles
