Lead of Product Analytics

Role overview Build and lead the product analytics function while remaining deeply hands-on with data. The work combines strategic ownership with senior-level analysis: uncovering growth and product opportunities, improving measurement systems, and helping teams make decisions based on reliable evidence. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams in an interactive video and media context.

Responsibilities - Set the direction for product analytics and proactively identify questions to investigate, validate, or challenge. - Conduct deep product analyses to find opportunities for growth and optimization, and turn findings into actionable recommendations. - Design and maintain event tracking and instrumentation, with consistent definitions and dependable data quality. - Improve the data warehouse through better data models and query performance. - Build and maintain dashboards, analytical layers, product metrics, and measurement frameworks. - Help teams assess product changes and make faster, better-informed decisions.

Requirements - Senior- or lead-level product analytics experience and willingness to work directly with data. - Advanced SQL skills, including complex and efficient queries, and strong Python skills for analysis and data processing. - Experience with business intelligence tools and building event tracking systems from the ground up. - Strong understanding of data warehouse design and optimization. - Knowledge of experimentation methods, including bootstrapping, sequential testing, multi-armed bandits, and causal inference. - Practical experience applying machine learning to analytics or product problems, plus the ability to connect findings to product and business decisions.

Nice to have - Experience with video streaming, recommendation systems, product funnels, user journeys, or fast-growing product companies.
