Job details
About this role
Role overview Build AI-enabled products and engineering tools across software, crypto, DeFi, and marketplace projects. The role suits a developer who uses coding agents as a regular part of delivery while retaining responsibility for architecture, code quality, security, and what reaches production.
Responsibilities - Break down complex tasks, provide coding agents with useful context, and guide their work as requirements change. - Review, debug, test, and validate generated code before it ships. - Make product and architecture decisions, choosing when to use AI assistance and when to implement directly. - Build AI features, internal agents, and workflows across frontend and backend systems. - Develop retrieval systems, data pipelines, APIs, and automations; improve prompts, evaluations, latency, cost, and reliability. - Prototype and ship products, potentially involving wallets, smart contracts, on-chain data, trading, research, risk, or operations.
Requirements - Evidence of shipping real products; demonstrated work matters more than a specific degree or employer history. - Practical experience using coding agents on substantial engineering tasks, with the judgment to challenge their output. - Ability to build and maintain software with attention to testing, security, reliability, and maintainability. - Relevant engineering experience with languages and tools such as Python, TypeScript or JavaScript, Go, React or Next.js, Node.js, APIs, SQL, cloud infrastructure, Git, and CI/CD. - Familiarity with LLMs and AI development tools; the listed areas include agent frameworks, tool calling, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluations, and observability.
Nice to have - Experience with crypto, blockchain, or DeFi; strong engineers able to learn the domain are also encouraged. - Projects, demos, open source contributions, experiments, or technical write-ups to demonstrate your work.
