Staff Software Engineer-ESPM Platform (Ruby / Rails)

Role overview

Build and grow an endpoint security posture management product designed to help customers identify risks and improve security practices before devices are compromised. As a hands-on technical leader, you’ll develop features across the stack, shape architecture, and tackle emerging security problems where established patterns may not exist. The work includes turning large volumes of data into useful signals and collaborating closely with security researchers and product teammates.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end product features, primarily with Ruby on Rails. - Develop efficient data pipelines that extract useful information from high-volume, noisy sources. - Work with security researchers to understand attack methods and translate findings into defensive capabilities. - Set technical and architectural direction, and lead complex work from design through delivery. - Improve product quality through code reviews and manual and automated testing. - Break down uncertain projects into actionable tasks, guide junior engineers, and align stakeholders. - Design systems capable of processing very large data volumes efficiently.

Requirements

- At least 10 years developing complex software products. - At least five years programming with Ruby on Rails. - Experience using AI coding tools. - Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL. - Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and communication skills.
