About this role
Role overview A remote UK-based manager role leading the EMEA region of a 24/7/365 Security Operations Center that investigates and responds to incidents across millions of endpoints. The position is accountable for operational excellence, analyst development, and process maturity within a globally distributed SOC, partnering closely with peer managers to deliver consistent worldwide coverage.
Responsibilities - Design, implement, and enforce processes that reduce burnout and raise productivity against global expectations and SLAs for response times. - Manage and enforce shift coverage across the region to guarantee 24/7/365 operations in partnership with peer regional managers. - Run weekly 1:1s with analysts to communicate focus initiatives, gather feedback, and accelerate career growth. - Contribute to training programs spanning Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, and Automation. - Maintain regional quality assurance, partner with Support on customer-facing analysis workflows, and coordinate with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams. - Track and report on Objectives and Key Results tied to SOC initiatives, and participate in public-facing webinars and in-person speaking engagements.
Requirements - Experience leading diverse cybersecurity teams across Security Operations, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering. - 5+ years as a Security Analyst in a global 24x7 SOC with a focus on Windows forensics. - 2+ years of team lead or managerial experience in a global SOC or Incident Response setting, ideally within an MSSP, MDR provider, or IR service. - Active engagement in the information security community through conferences or public-domain contributions. - Ability to diagram workflows, write detailed operating procedures, and translate highly technical concepts for varied stakeholders. - Data-driven decision-making approach with applied Data Science concepts.
