Lead Data Informaticist

Role overview This senior individual contributor builds and governs the data foundation used for pharmacy analytics and AI assisted self service. The work combines hands on data engineering with analytical modeling and governance, so business teams can answer questions consistently across claims, membership, marketing, operations, and financial outcomes.

Responsibilities - Build, test, deploy, document, and maintain scalable data pipelines and curated analytical data products. - Model information from multiple business domains, preserving the meaning and appropriate use of each source. - Define shared business rules, KPI calculations, population definitions, data relationships, and analytical methods. - Document data sources, field meanings, analytical grain, lineage, refresh expectations, and transformation logic. - Assess the reliability of AI assisted analytical answers; identify gaps in data, business logic, metadata, or integrations and develop solutions. - Establish repeatable quality checks, reconciliations, and monitoring, while guiding technical standards and reusable practices across teams.

Requirements - The role calls for senior, hands on technical leadership in data products, analytical architecture, metadata, and governance. - Work requires experience designing and maintaining scalable ETL or ELT pipelines and curated analytical data models. - Ability to integrate and interpret information from areas such as claims, membership, operations, marketing, and finance. - Skill in translating business and analytical needs into governed definitions, reliable data products, and repeatable controls. - Ability to collaborate with analysts, business partners, and data engineering teams, and to document and review technical work.
