Senior Data Engineer

Role overview Build and maintain cloud data systems that support digital analytics, from event collection and transformation through reporting. This senior engineering role combines core data pipeline work with analytics implementation, translating business measurement needs into reliable technical solutions. The position is remote within Colombia.

Responsibilities - Develop and operate data pipelines, transformations, and integrations using cloud services, SQL, and Python. - Implement analytics solutions using Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and Customer Journey Analytics. - Define tracking approaches, event collection plans, and technical specifications from business and measurement requirements. - Support data modeling, validation, data quality, and reporting workflows. - Work with cloud architectures, including Google Cloud, to build scalable and dependable data processes. - Coordinate across technical and business teams to connect analytics implementation with broader data engineering needs. - Improve governance, pipeline performance, and operational efficiency, and explore ways to apply AI in analytics workflows.

Requirements - At least five years of experience in data engineering, analytics implementation, or a related field, with hands-on delivery of data solutions. - Experience with cloud data systems, including pipelines, transformations, orchestration, and scalable architectures; Google Cloud experience is relevant. - Practical experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch; Customer Journey Analytics experience is especially useful. - Strong SQL and JavaScript skills, plus Python experience for processing, automation, or pipeline development. - Knowledge of data warehousing, modeling, ETL or ELT, data structures, and data quality checks. - Ability to turn business needs into measurement plans and technical specifications, communicate effectively in English at B2 level or above, and work across disciplines.

Nice to have - Exposure to AI or agentic engineering and integrating AI solutions into data workflows. - Customer Journey Analytics experience.
