Role overview A senior engineering position focused on building highly scalable, cloud-based software that powers tools used by coaches and athletes worldwide. The role combines hands-on full-stack engineering with technical leadership, helping a rapidly iterating engineering organization deliver hundreds of deploys per day while embracing agentic AI practices across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities - Act as a key technical leader, breaking down complex engineering problems, advocating for best practices, and guiding teammates through implementation. - Drive efficient delivery by focusing on outcomes over outputs, encouraging data-driven decisions, and iterating quickly on feedback. - Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary leaders to plan and iteratively ship enhancements across the product suite. - Champion an agent-first engineering mindset, coaching peers on agentic coding tools and techniques throughout the development lifecycle. - Rapidly ramp up in new areas as a generalist, going wherever the most pressing problems arise.
Requirements - Strong technical proficiency designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based, full-stack systems at scale. - Advocate for CI/CD and modern engineering practices, with the ability to pick up new stacks and frameworks quickly. - Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including translating requirements into architectural proposals and breaking work into digestible increments. - Comfort partnering with product managers, designers, and quality assurance to deliver customer-focused products. - Mentorship-oriented, collaborative mindset with a strong belief in the multiplier effect of team growth.
Nice to have - Experience leading adoption of agentic AI or AI-assisted development tools across an engineering team.
