Role overview Help build and evolve a cloud-native platform that powers electric mobility worldwide. The role spans backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure, designing, developing, and operating scalable, secure, high-performing applications. The work sits at the intersection of product, architecture, QA, and DevOps within an international engineering organization focused on sustainable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript. - Build secure REST APIs and responsive user interfaces following clean code and engineering best practices. - Develop and operate cloud-native services on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines. - Drive software quality through automated testing, code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement. - Partner with Product Owners, Designers, QA, Architects, and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle. - Troubleshoot complex production issues, mentor other engineers, and help shape engineering standards across the team.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience building full-stack applications with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS. - Strong grasp of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and modern software architecture. - Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git in cloud-native environments. - Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or Redis, plus automated testing frameworks. - Solid knowledge of clean code principles, design patterns, secure development, and performance optimization. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, fluent in English, and comfortable working in a cross-functional Agile team.
