About this role
Role overview Build and improve the customer-facing interfaces for large online shops serving several European markets. The work combines frontend development, architecture improvements, and performance tuning, with close collaboration across design, product, and engineering.
Responsibilities - Develop clear, responsive interfaces for online shopping experiences. - Improve frontend architecture, particularly with Vue.js and Nuxt. - Work with designers, backend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver features. - Turn user needs into technical plans, implementation steps, and effort estimates. - Improve loading speed, Core Web Vitals, and conversion performance. - Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and sound architecture.
Requirements - Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills. - Substantial experience with a modern JavaScript framework; Vue.js and Nuxt are especially relevant. - Experience integrating REST APIs. - A structured approach and commitment to maintainable, high-quality code. - Interest in modern web development, user experience, and performance optimization. - Very good German or fluent English.
Nice to have - Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopware.
