Summer 2027 IT Audit Undergraduate Intern

Role overview Support internal audit work focused on technology, cybersecurity, privacy, and risk management. The internship offers practical experience assessing controls, documenting findings, and working with audit and business teams in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities - Assist with day-to-day IT audit and assurance activities, including research and analysis. - Help assess technology processes, security controls, and risks, and document results. - Contribute to audit and advisory projects, including reviews of system implementations and project controls. - Develop recommendations for process improvements and support related initiatives. - Work with colleagues across audit, information security, privacy, risk management, and business functions. - Follow applicable privacy, information security, and healthcare data protection requirements.

Requirements - Be enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited bachelor’s degree program. - Communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders. - Be willing to learn through supervised assignments, training, and mentorship. - Meet U.S. work authorization requirements; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have - Studies in accounting, finance, business, information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field. - Interest in IT auditing, risk assessment, data privacy, cybersecurity governance, or compliance.
