Senior Software Engineer

Role overview

Join an engineering team building user-facing products, internal tools, automations, and integrations for a modern investment and wealth-management platform. The work spans product development and operational enablement, with close collaboration across technical and business stakeholders to solve complex problems and improve the experience of advisors and other users.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement software solutions with stakeholders and other developers. - Build a high-quality experience for users across multiple stakeholder groups. - Improve advisor capabilities through better tools, data, and actionable insights. - Develop internal automations that increase efficiency and support sustainable growth. - Extend and integrate third-party systems into a unified, scalable technology ecosystem. - Contribute to decisions about performance, reliability, security, API design, and maintainable architecture.

Requirements

- At least 5 years of professional front-end and/or back-end experience building, operating, and debugging web applications. - Experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks; relevant examples include React, Node.js, Fastify, and GraphQL. - Strong interest in performance, API design, functional programming, and simple technical solutions. - High attention to detail around reliability, security, documentation, and maintainability. - Ability to work effectively with teams such as sales, operations, legal, and accounting. - Fluent written and spoken English, with a growth mindset and willingness to keep learning.

Nice to have

- Previous experience in financial technology or a related regulated domain. - Appreciation for both internal and external technical documentation.
