Senior DevOps Engineer

Role overview Build and scale cloud-native infrastructure for a distributed SaaS product. This role owns the systems that support development, deployment, observability, security, reliability, and recovery, with a strong emphasis on automation and infrastructure as code. It suits an engineer who can work independently, improve developer productivity, and operate production infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes. The position is remote, with preferred locations in India, and targets approximately 3–6 years of experience.

Responsibilities - Deploy and operate cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes, including managed Kubernetes environments. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and change management using Terraform. - Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and microservice deployment workflows. - Design automation and developer-platform improvements that help teams deliver software more reliably and quickly. - Build and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards using observability tooling. - Maintain infrastructure security monitoring, patching, upgrades, disaster recovery, and data-recovery practices. - Write and maintain scripts that reduce manual operational work.

Requirements - Around 3 or more years of hands-on Terraform experience. - Around 3 or more years managing Kubernetes clusters. - Practical AWS experience, particularly with managed Kubernetes services. - Solid foundations in networking, databases, and distributed systems. - Experience operating scalable architectures and CI/CD systems for microservices. - Familiarity with observability, information-security practices, and scripting languages.
