Job details
About this role
Role overview Help modernize clinical and revenue cycle software by building AI capabilities that can run reliably in production. You’ll take ownership of significant parts of the platform, work closely with an AI solutions specialist, and guide less experienced engineers on a small, collaborative team.
Responsibilities - Build AI agents and multi-agent workflows, including tool use, orchestration, state and memory, retries, and human review steps. - Develop Model Context Protocol servers and tools that connect agents securely to healthcare data and services. - Contribute to model and API gateways, including routing, authentication, rate limits, fallbacks, budget controls, cost tracking, and sensitive-data redaction. - Add tracing, evaluations, and metrics for latency, cost, and output quality. - Deliver tested, documented production code in Python, C#, and TypeScript; review code and lead features from design through delivery. - Integrate with clinical and claims data while following privacy and healthcare security requirements.
Requirements - At least five years in software development, including five years coding in Python and building or supporting REST APIs with authentication and security. - Five years working with Git, CI/CD, containers, and cloud services; Azure is preferred. - At least two years with C#/.NET, LLM applications, and agent frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph. - At least two years of exposure to MCP, LiteLLM, and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry or Langfuse. - At least one year using TypeScript for front-end work, plus healthcare experience or a strong interest in healthcare privacy practices. - Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and independent execution skills.
Nice to have - Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, or LLM evaluation. - Infrastructure-as-code experience with Bicep or Terraform.
Benefits and work setup The role may be based in an office or a remote home office. Work may involve access to protected health or personal information, so careful handling and confidentiality are essential.
