Trading Intelligence Analyst - Trading Origination

Role overview Provide a trading desk with fast, reliable intelligence on sports news and market activity. You’ll assess which developments could affect prices, communicate time-sensitive updates, and improve the speed of research and reporting with AI-assisted workflows. The role also offers a pathway to build the skills needed for a future trading position.

Responsibilities - Monitor news wires, injury reports, beat reporters, official league sources, and social channels for market-relevant updates. - Judge source reliability and deliver accurate, concise information to traders quickly. - Track betting activity and market movements, calling attention to unusual patterns or potential opportunities. - Compare odds and markets with competitors and flag meaningful differences. - Develop and improve AI-supported processes for gathering, sorting, and sharing information. - Assist with data projects and ad hoc research, and join in-person sessions for team collaboration or training as needed.

Requirements - Strong knowledge of US team sports and a clear sense of where to find timely, dependable information. - Interest in becoming a trader and a working understanding of probability and betting odds. - Comfort using AI tools and looking for practical ways to improve workflows. - Confidence working with data, including tools such as spreadsheets and SQL. - Attention to detail, sound judgment, reliability, and strong communication and collaboration skills. - Availability to work evenings and weekends in line with the sports calendar.
