About this role
Role overview Design and implement zero-knowledge proof systems that let decentralized applications verify AI inference, model integrity, and credentials without exposing private data or proprietary model weights. The work spans cryptographic circuit design, proof performance, and the security of on-chain applications.
Responsibilities - Build arithmetic circuits for neural network inference. - Improve proof generation speed and reduce verification costs across SNARK and STARK systems. - Develop cryptographic components for verifiable credentials and decentralized identity. - Audit and formally verify cryptographic circuits and smart contracts.
Requirements - Strong foundations in abstract algebra, finite fields, and elliptic curve cryptography. - Practical experience with zero-knowledge frameworks such as Halo2, Plonky2, Circom, Gnark, or RISC Zero. - Proficiency in Rust and/or Go. - Understanding of cryptographic security models and common attack surfaces.
Nice to have - Experience building zero-knowledge machine learning pipelines. - Familiarity with smart contract execution environments such as EVM, Solana, or Cosmos.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote work across a distributed team. - High autonomy and end-to-end ownership, with an emphasis on outcomes. - Open-source development whose work is available for other developers to inspect and use.
