1173 - Fullstack Software Engineer (AI-Native)

Role overview Deliver full-stack product features with a strong emphasis on backend services, APIs, and relational data modeling. The role also helps teams build AI-native development practices by extending shared tools and workflows into day-to-day engineering and CI/CD.

Responsibilities - Collaborate with product teams to define and implement technical requirements. - Design backend services and APIs, including integrations between systems that use relational data. - Turn complex and changing business concepts into clear database schemas and API contracts. - Build complete product features, contributing to the TypeScript frontend as needed. - Help expand shared AI-assisted development workflows, tooling, and CI/CD integration across the team.

Requirements - Mid-to-senior engineering experience with strong backend and data fundamentals. - Production experience with relational databases and data or domain modeling. - Production programming experience in Ruby, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python; Ruby and Node.js/TypeScript are preferred. - Experience designing and building APIs. - Experience with AWS or another enterprise cloud platform. - Daily use of agentic AI coding tools, with experience scaling shared AI workflows across a team and through the development lifecycle, including CI/CD. - Strong English and communication skills.

Nice to have - Experience building LLM features on an enterprise AI platform; AWS Bedrock is preferred. - Exposure to energy, utilities, or sustainability data.

Benefits and work setup - Remote, full-time contract for candidates based in Latin America, with a 40-hour workweek. - Listed monthly compensation is USD $4,000–$5,000, depending on experience and skills.
