Role overview Act as the Solution Architect Lead on data-platform consulting engagements, owning end-to-end architecture from ingestion through reporting while guiding engineers, analysts, and BI developers. The role combines client-facing technical delivery, pre-sales support, and people leadership for a remote, LatAm-based team serving international clients.
Responsibilities - Lead client discovery and requirements-gathering sessions to define business objectives, data sources, and success criteria for analytics engagements. - Design end-to-end solution architectures spanning ingestion, modeling, warehousing, transformation, and reporting or visualization. - Produce architecture diagrams, technical design documents, and solution roadmaps that are clear to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders across the engagement lifecycle, partnering with project managers and engagement leads. - Guide and review the work of data engineers, analysts, and BI developers against the architected design and quality standards. - Contribute to internal reusable frameworks, accelerators, and architecture standards that improve delivery speed and consistency. - Support pre-sales activity including solution scoping, effort estimation, and proposal or RFP responses. - Manage a team including staffing, workload balancing, day-to-day performance management, and mentoring on architecture best practices.
Requirements - 5–7+ years of experience designing and delivering end-to-end data and analytics solutions, from source systems through reporting and consumption layers. - Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud data platform such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus the ability to evaluate additional tools. - Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of data modeling approaches such as dimensional modeling or data vault. - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Willingness to travel to client sites as engagements require.
Benefits and work setup - Full-time contract paid through a payroll platform at USD $4,500–$5,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset. - Remote position with the talent allocated to a client engagement. - English fluency required and based in Latin America. - Hiring process includes application review, screening interview, client interview, and onboarding.
