1143 - Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Role overview A senior full-stack engineer is needed to design and ship scalable web applications for an international client, with a strong emphasis on Web3 and decentralized infrastructure. The role spans frontend architecture, backend services, and blockchain integrations across the full delivery lifecycle. The position is remote, based in Latin America, and contracted through a payroll provider.

Responsibilities - Design and develop scalable, responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js or Vite.js - Build and maintain backend services and APIs with Node.js and NestJS - Develop reusable frontend components and application architecture - Integrate APIs, databases, third-party services, and blockchain technologies - Implement responsive, mobile-first interfaces with modern CSS frameworks - Connect Web3 wallets, interact with smart contracts, and work with blockchain infrastructure - Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement - Troubleshoot technical issues across frontend and backend systems

Requirements - 5+ years of professional software or web development experience - Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, plus solid JavaScript fundamentals - Professional experience with Node.js and preferably NestJS - Experience building REST APIs and integrating backend services - Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database and an ORM such as Prisma - Strong grasp of frontend state management and data-fetching patterns - Experience with responsive UI development and modern component libraries - Comfort with Git and modern software development practices, working in distributed teams

Nice to have - Professional experience with Web3 applications or DeFi platforms - Familiarity with Wagmi, Ethers.js, Web3Auth, LiFi, or comparable tools - Smart contract interaction, blockchain transactions, and decentralized application patterns - Experience migrating applications between frameworks or build tools - Building reusable component libraries or NPM packages, real-time data, or cloud functions - Background in financial applications, digital wallets, exchanges, or trading platforms - Mentoring junior developers or running technical training

Benefits and work setup - Full-time remote contract administered through a payroll platform - Compensation ranges from USD $3,000 to $3,200 per month, depending on seniority and skillset
