GTM Systems Engineer

Role overview This position focuses on designing, building, and scaling the technical systems that power a retention engine within a learning and development organization. It is a hands-on systems engineering role spanning architecture, data, integrations, automation, and AI-enabled workflows, partnering closely with post-sales teams to translate operational friction into scalable, intelligent solutions.

Responsibilities - Design and evolve systems architecture supporting post-sales execution, separating data, business logic, and user experience - Translate Customer Success priorities into scalable workflows covering success planning, account planning, risk management, business reviews, and renewal readiness - Build and maintain integrations using APIs, webhooks, and workflow tools, and improve data quality so customer and revenue signals flow where teams need them - Develop AI-enabled workflows that surface account risk, support renewal prep, and act on customer signals by connecting AI capabilities to live business data - Reduce manual processes and fragmented tooling ownership, while establishing standards for reliability, maintainability, documentation, and visibility - Prototype agent experiences that cut administrative load and improve the speed and quality of post-sales decisions, measuring impact on retention outcomes

Requirements - Demonstrated ownership of meaningful systems, automation, or integration work in GTM engineering, revenue operations, business systems, or a comparable technical role - Experience designing workflows, integrations, automations, or data solutions across business systems - Ability to move from problem to working solution, test with users, and iterate based on evidence - Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical, Customer Success, and commercial stakeholders - Practical approach to testing, iteration, documentation, and adoption

Nice to have - Familiarity with Salesforce, Gainsight (or peers such as Totango, Planhat, ChurnZero, Vitally, Catalyst), Gong, Workato, n8n, Databricks, and SQL
