System Engineer, Fleet Support - Fully Remote USD - Latin America

Role overview Support a growing fleet of custom sorting robots and edge devices used by recyclers to divert material from landfills. You will join a small LATAM engineering group collaborating with US-based robotics and operations teams, owning reliability for deployed hardware while building tooling that empowers field service technicians.

Responsibilities - Respond to automated alerts and customer-reported issues, performing root cause analysis and recommending solutions to the field service team. - Monitor and tune the performance of deployed devices to maximize the robots' operational impact. - Support the rollout and deployment of new devices as the fleet expands. - Build internal tooling that enables the field service team to handle more issues and respond faster to problems.

Requirements - 3+ years of work experience on hardware or robotics projects or products. - 3+ years of experience with Python, Ubuntu/Linux, and Git. - 2+ years working through the command line on both local and remote systems. - English fluency at B2 or higher, since collaboration is with a US-based team.

Nice to have - Networking debugging skills. - Embedded programming experience. - Familiarity with ElasticSearch, React, Django, or Structured Text. - Prior experience working with US companies or clients.
