Senior Backend Engineer, Trusted Agentic Development

Role overview This senior backend engineering role focuses on the services and APIs that power trusted, agentic software development experiences. The team builds the runtime plumbing behind AI-assisted coding and automation flows, with a strong emphasis on correctness, isolation, and trust boundaries so that autonomous agents can act on a codebase safely. It is a remote, senior individual-contributor position based in Poland.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and operate backend services that orchestrate agentic development workflows at scale. - Model and enforce trust, permissioning, and auditability for AI-driven actions on source code and infrastructure. - Improve reliability, observability, and performance of the agent execution platform. - Collaborate with ML, security, and product engineering teams to integrate new model-driven capabilities. - Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices across the stack.

Requirements - Several years of senior backend experience building distributed systems in languages such as Go, Ruby, or Python. - Solid grasp of API design, async processing, queues, and container-based deployment. - Understanding of AI-assisted coding concepts, LLM integration patterns, and the security implications of autonomous agents. - Track record of owning services in production, including on-call and incident response.

Nice to have - Experience with code analysis pipelines, developer platforms, or source-control integrations. - Familiarity with sandboxing, capability-based security, or policy-as-code approaches.
