Motion Designer (DanceBit)
Job details
About this role
Role overview A mobile-app studio focused on health, wellness, utilities, and music is hiring a Motion Designer to support performance-driven creative for the DanceBit product. The role blends motion design, video editing, and rapid experimentation, with the expectation that the designer owns initiatives end-to-end and contributes ideas, not just finished videos. It suits someone who thrives on a fast production cadence, enjoys iterating on ad concepts, and is comfortable working across modern AI-assisted tooling.
Responsibilities - Design and animate short-form video ads for paid social channels including Meta, TikTok, Google, AppLovin, and Snapchat. - Partner with creative producers and user-acquisition leads on briefs, creative hypotheses, and quick-turn experiments. - Reformat winning concepts into new variations covering hooks, runtime, aspect ratio, language, and audience segments. - Edit mixed-source footage (UGC, stock clips, gameplay, screen captures) into clean, on-brand videos. - Maintain visual consistency while producing at high volume, typically multiple finished creatives per week. - Apply AI-based tools for image, video, and audio work when they meaningfully speed up the pipeline. - Track platform-native ad trends and evolving motion-design styles.
Requirements - At least one year of motion design experience in a marketing environment, with a preference for performance or user-acquisition creative. - A portfolio that demonstrates motion design skills, ideally including performance-marketing video ads. - Strong command of After Effects and Premiere Pro, paired with a clear understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, and calls to action. - Ability to ship high volumes of work without compromising visual quality. - Foundational sound design and mixing ability. - English at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher.
Nice to have - Practical use of tools like Sora, Runway, Kling, Pika, Higgsfield, ElevenLabs, Suno, or Midjourney. - Working knowledge of Illustrator and Figma for static assets. - Background producing UGC-style or narrative ad concepts. - Experience writing plugins or scripts to automate personal and team workflows.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first culture with flexible scheduling and the option to work from corporate hubs. - Coworking support: full reimbursement in Ukraine (outside Kyiv) and 50% reimbursement elsewhere. - Free lunches provided at hub locations. - Public holidays aligned with Ukrainian or Polish calendars, with 12 fixed holidays for employees in other regions. - Full sick-leave compensation. - Partial coverage for medical insurance, sports, and mental-health support such as therapy. - Equipment provided or maintenance costs covered for personal setups. - 70% coverage of learning budgets, with corporate English classes fully funded. - 18 paid vacation days plus 3 personal days annually, with an additional day accrued each tenure year. - In-person team events organized when possible across locations.
