Job details
About this role
Role overview
A senior individual contributor position leading the Platform group inside an AI-powered operating system for real estate finance and construction. The Platform team owns the shared building blocks, core technical services, and APIs that every other product area depends on, from authentication and notifications to workflow tools and the developer-facing ecosystem. The role is a player-coach opportunity focused on outcomes, partnering deeply with engineering leadership and go-to-market counterparts.
Responsibilities
- Own definition, execution, and delivery for the platform area, writing high-quality PRDs, grooming backlogs, and planning sprints with clarity and rigor - Collaborate closely with application teams to surface needs and pattern-match them into a prioritized platform roadmap - Partner with engineering leadership on investments in service reliability, scalability, and developer productivity, sequencing them on the quarterly plan - Conduct deep customer discovery across lenders, developers, owners, contractors, and portfolio managers to surface problems worth solving - Define and own OKRs and success metrics, prioritizing ruthlessly based on evidence rather than opinion - Drive zero-to-one product efforts from initial discovery through design, delivery, and iteration, navigating ambiguity with judgment - Present roadmaps, delivery plans, and demos in both internal and customer-facing forums with executive-level conviction - Partner with go-to-market teams on launch strategy and driving adoption of platform capabilities
Requirements
- Substantial senior product management experience owning complex or critical product areas - Strong technical acumen and the ability to partner credibly with engineering on platform-level decisions - Demonstrated track record of driving zero-to-one efforts and influencing peers and leadership through clarity and results - Experience writing rigorous PRDs and operating inside high-velocity sprint cadences - Ability to define success metrics, prioritize with conviction, and bias toward delivery over perfection - Strong customer-discovery skills and a habit of translating research into durable product strategy
Nice to have
- Background in platform, infrastructure, developer-experience, or API products - Familiarity with real estate, construction, lending, or capital-movement workflows
Benefits and work setup
- Base salary range of $165,000 to $210,000 USD, designed to accommodate upward mobility through the proficiency span for the role - Equity in the form of stock options as part of a robust total compensation package - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - Unlimited paid time off policy (US) - 401(k) with employer match and expedited vesting (US) - Learning Grant program supporting ongoing professional development - Remote-friendly with required travel to a central hub (Nashville) at least twice per year for company gatherings, plus additional travel based on role needs
