Staff Cloud Architect

Role overview A staff-level position acting as senior reviewer and decision-maker for cloud architecture artifacts produced by an AI agent platform for enterprise customers. Most of the work centers on reviewing output, resolving edge cases, and signing off on what ships, rather than writing net-new systems from scratch.

Responsibilities - Review and sign off on agent-drafted cloud architecture artifacts within your domain. - Pair with customer senior engineers on the highest-stakes design decisions. - Author the house-style rules and patterns the agents follow across assigned accounts. - Contribute reusable patterns back to the shared platform. - Mentor other senior engineers on the craft of supervising AI-generated work.

Requirements - 10+ years building production systems at meaningful scale. - A track record of work that operated reliably under real load. - Strong opinions about reviewability, audit trails, and reversibility. - A preference for reviewing twenty pull requests well over writing one yourself.
