Senior SRE

Role overview A senior site reliability engineer is needed to serve as the principal reviewer and final decision-maker for AI-drafted engineering artifacts produced for enterprise customers. The role centers on supervising automated outputs, resolving edge cases, and personally signing off on work that reaches production. It is a remote, full-time position based in the United States, with a base compensation range of $220K–$340K plus equity.

Responsibilities - Review and formally approve automated, agent-generated engineering artifacts within your domain before they ship. - Pair directly with customers' senior engineers on high-impact architectural and operational decisions. - Author the house-style rules, conventions, and reusable patterns that automated agents must follow on assigned accounts. - Contribute durable, generalizable patterns back to the shared internal platform so other accounts can benefit. - Mentor fellow senior engineers on the craft of supervising, reviewing, and critiquing agent-produced work.

Requirements - Ten or more years building and operating production systems at meaningful scale. - A demonstrable track record of systems that ran reliably under real load. - Strong, well-formed opinions about reviewability, audit trails, and reversibility in software delivery. - A reviewer-first mindset: a clear preference for carefully evaluating twenty pull requests over shipping one of your own.
